Product prototype printing for functional parts and rapid iteration.
Test fit, function, and assembly with a printed prototype made from your model.
Your design can still be undergoing revisions, but a printable STL, 3MF, or OBJ model is required. Original CAD design is not included.

Functional prototypes and engineering parts
A physical product prototype can uncover clearance, assembly, strength, and usability issues that are easy to miss on screen. This service is built for practical testing before you commit to a final design or larger run.
Test movement, handling, assembly, and intended use with a physical part.
Evaluate brackets, fixtures, mounting geometry, clearances, and mechanical interfaces.
Confirm dimensions, mounting points, clearances, and assembly before moving forward.
Test enclosure changes, lid alignment, cable routing, and internal spacing.
Turn a customer-supplied design into a proof of concept, presentation model, or test piece.
Print a small batch to confirm the design works before repeating the order.
How prototype quoting works
Three common prototype requests.
Common requests include fit-check parts, housings, and small validation batches. Send a printable model for an exact quote.

Prototype printing FAQ
What prototype files do you accept?
STL and 3MF are preferred, and OBJ is also accepted for prototype printing quotes.
What kinds of prototypes are a good fit?
Good fits include fit checks, housing revisions, bracket tests, concept models, and other customer-supplied functional or visual prototypes.
Can I reorder a revised prototype?
Yes. Revised files, second passes, and approved repeat runs can use the same quote and review workflow.
Which materials are available for functional prototypes?
PETG is a standard choice for durable functional prototypes. PLA+ / PLA Pro, TPU, PLA-CF, and PAHT-CF are also available for suitable parts. If your product prototype specifically calls for ASA or ABS, include that in the quote request; availability and the best material for the use case will be confirmed during file review.
Good fit for prototypes
- Product revisions before a final production file
- Mechanical parts that need a quick dimensional check
- Customer demos and proof-of-concept pieces
- Repeat iterations where you want faster decision cycles
What helps the quote move faster
- The file plus quantity and target material
- Notes about tolerance, load, or cosmetic expectations
- A deadline if the prototype supports a project milestone
- A note on whether the part is visual, functional, or both
